Here's our first new author. Let me introduce AmyBeth Inverness, a science fiction and romance storyteller with a smooth and understated writing style and more than a touch of whimsy. AmyBeth has signed with Dingbat to publish a family-friendly series of sci fi short stories set on a future moon colony, called The Cities of Luna. These are stories about real, ordinary people in true-life situations — they just happen to take place on the moon.
We'll publish a new short story on the full moon of each month, with the first release, “Grands,” coming in August. If we can bring ourselves to stop fussing with it, we should have the first cover to show you shortly.
Welcome aboard, AmyBeth!
Their joint work, Christmas at the Zoo, is a lovely Christian picture book presenting the Christmas story for beginning readers. When the young chimps, the littlest giraffe, and the baby elephant think about the fun and treats they'll get for Christmas, their older relatives team up to teach them the real reason for the season.
A big Dingbat wave to Angela and Quinlan!
When Dad loses his big toenail, everyone's grossed out and fascinated. Who's got the best suggestion for repurposing the toenail? Will Jason use it as a guitar pick, or will Dad scratch his back with it? Or will Mom win and throw that disgusting thing away?
Don't miss the exciting, enGROSSing tale of… Dad's Toenail!
Ahem. Yes, we do Very Serious Literachur here.
That's it for now. Next time, we'll introduce you to more of our new authors and see if AmyBeth and I can't show off her first cover.
